"Dude" or "Dood"

Texting or chatting can be very confusing for one of three reasons.

1. People use shortcut words that you don't know.
2. People spell the abbreviated words differently than you.
3. People misspell EVERYTHING.

This can be very obnoxious, but if you simply grow balls and write normally, everyone will be happy.

Censorship. (A brief essay)

I buy music at Wal-Mart, because you can find good music for a low price. I bought Seether ’s album Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces for a fair price, and got home to listen to the exceptional music and lyrics of the previously mentioned band, only to find out that every word that is considered inappropriate was bleeped out. As I sung along in my room with my cousin, I felt foolish when I didn’t know the words, simply because they weren’t there. What are the effects of censorship?

Censorship can be looked at as a violation of our freedom of speech, but having no censorship can cause people to hear things they never meant to hear or see things they never wanted to see. Editing an author’s works can change the true meaning of what the artist wanted to say. Removing books and movies from shelves causes the people involved in the creation of the works to not get the money they would have had their work not been banned.

If we could focus on the consequences of censoring our media, perhaps we could better understand the artist’s need to be heard in his or her own words.

Japanese-American Citizens and WWII

This is Axiom Wheeler, coming to you live from Humanities 1010. Class is boring, and an issue came up that is really bugging me: the imprisonment of Japanese-Americans in WWII.

In WWII, President Roosevelt signed papers saying all peoples of Japanese decent that are living in America must be "relocated." Basically, they were plucked from their homes and businesses to live in shacks with tar-paper roofs in the middle of the desert. Americans, to this day, justify this stupid action. Claims are made that no Japanese were beaten to death but Americans were in Japanese prison camp. Americans journeyed to Japan and attacked the Japanese, but the Japanese living here were coming to live a better life. Over 60% of the Japanese living in America were citizens, paying taxes, supporting the war effort, and living legal lives. America has given "official apologies" to these people, but is it enough?

Not only Japanese were moved, but also German, Italian, and other foreigners, were relocated. And they got no apology. They got nothing. People in relocation camps were starving, not to death, but to near death. And what did the United States of America do? They said sorry in the 80's and gave the Japanese survivors 20,000 bucks. Bastards, they took 2-3 years from these people, and gave them enough to buy a car?

Think about it America. Speak out. Show uncle Sam your punk face.
This is Axiom. Signing out.

Omegle

This is Axiom coming to you from the studio to talk to you about Omegle, the hip, innovative chatting service.

So WTF is up with "Omegle" the place where anyone can say anything to anyone and everyone anonymously without any consequences? Just see for yourself. It's all 18 year old boys wanting anonymous cyber sex. If they do say they're female, they're not. Omegle can be fun, but you have to go through at least 3 crappy conversations before you get to an interesting one. But if you're dumb enough to go on for cyber, grow a pair and watch porn you sick fucks. Honestly, 14 year old kids get on there. You never know if you're really cybering with some 14 year old girl saying she's 19 or cybering with a 35 year old guy saying he's an 18 year old girl. Be wise sick fucker, you could be convincing some little boy to have sex with an adult, and you won't even know it.

Be smart, have fun and keep it in your pants. Like always this is Axiom Wheeler. Out.

Telling mom 'n' dad to F**** OFF!!!!

So, blogging is definitely NOT my strong point. Proof? I haven't blogged since October. So, telling mom and dad to fuck off. I have recently moved in with my fiance. Mom 'n' dad? Christian and pissed. Me? Christian and laughing. Honestly, I believe in free say and free will. I turned 18 just 45 minutes ago. My parents kicked me out because I packed boxes. Luckily, I was packing so I could move in with Noelle, the mysterious love of my life.

I'm going to college right now, but can I truly call college punk? Going to school is like buying into the system, but what if you're going to school so you can better yourself, and have a greater impact when you tell good ol' uncle Sam to fuck himself. What if you're going to school to wreck havoc, or going to school to use the government's money, and thus fuck your fellow Americans up the ass.

Pro-Life

Is pro-life punk? I believe it is, because in essence punk is a belief-style designed for the punk him/herself. I am a Christian, yet I am a punk. I believe in equal say, yet I believe in censored radio. Is Christianity truly 'punk', because yet again it is all in the eye of the beholder.

Punk Lifestyle Quotes (Frank Zappa and Sting)

OK, here it is. I'm going to post quotes by famous or non-famous people every few weeks. Today I'm posting quotes from Frank Zappa and Sting (The Police). Some may say Zappa's not punk, but his words say otherwise.

Zappa:
"I never set out to be weird. It was always other people who called me weird"

"Politics is the entertainment branch of industry."
"The United States is a nation of laws: badly written and randomly enforced."
"Communism doesn't work because people like to own stuff."

Sting:
"I come from a family of losers, and I've rejected my family as something I don't want to be like.
"
"It takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile."
"The acceptance of death gives you more of a stake in life, in living life happily, as it should be lived. Living for the moment.
"
"When the world is running down, you make the best of what's still around."

All quotes were found on www.brainyquotes.com. If any are fake, please let me know.

DUDE, I'M NOT EMO!!!!!!!!!

Why is everyone convinced that if you wear chick pants once, or you wear band tees, or even you wear checkered accessories, you must be emo? Isn't emo based on killing yourself? WTF?!?!?!? Do I look suicidal? Do I cut my wrists every Wednesday? Maybe, but that's beside the point. Actually, I hang with emos so maybe you could call me emo, I guess. Anywho, I actually just wanted to update my blog. Enjoi.
